Young horses as far the eye can see
Every year we have more than 100 foals playing on our lush green pastures. They are part of our breeding programme and are all from well tested, graded and highly qualified blood lines.
The quality depends on a healthy breeding and two factors:
Knowing what kind of horses you want to breed, a non-fashion approach
with an experts critical selection.
Pedigree alone never made a champion Stallion
Since a pedigree alone never made a champion stallion, Heinrich Ramsbrock places great importance on raising stallions in a natural environment.
The young stallions grow up in a herd and spend their summers on extensive pastures. During the winter months they stay in open stables that allow them to go out at all times.
A stallion that grows under such optimal conditions will be in outstanding condition when the time for grading comes.
The practically record number of licensed and premium stallions originating from Stall Ramsbrock (more than 250 actively breeding in Germany and abroad) – and their long success in German breeding ie Westphalia, Hanover, and Oldenburg prove that Heinrich Ramsbrock may be very right in his approach.
